A. BLACKWELL, Communications Management Consultant.
Media and print management and strategic planning. Ms.
Blackwell has 23 years of experience managing media and print
services at Andersen (formerly Arthur Andersen and Andersen
Consulting). As director of Telemedia and Publishing Services
she implemented business television and distance learning, media
asset management, digital printing and inventory control and
strategic communications planning.
Since retiring as a Principal from Andersen in 2001, Ms.
Blackwell has provided consulting services to Andersen, GE
Financial Assurance Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory and
production companies including Motivation Excellence
International and ImageTrust. She is an accredited member of the
Communications Media Management Association (CMMA) for which she
researches and edits a quarterly column on communications
management. CMMA has engaged her to develop a strategic
marketing plan. Ms. Blackwell is currently co-authoring a book
on facilitative leadership.

MARILYN
PETROKUBI, President,
TimeSteps Productions, Inc. Media Asset Management
Consultant, Ms. Petrokubi has over 20 years of experience
evaluating and making recommendations for videotape, audio,
film, slide, photograph and associated new media collections.
She turns media messes into Media Assets by creating organized
libraries. Her company has been licensing footage from the
TimeSteps Historical Archive and producing award-winning films
and videos since 1987.Ms. Petrokubi
helps her Fortune 500 clients with inventory assessment,
database procurement, database customization, policy and
procedure development and media library staffing. Each
organization’s collection tends to offer a unique set of
challenges and requires individualized research and consultation
to create a properly managed collection. Timesteps' Media Asset
Management clients include: Lucent Technologies, American
Express, Bellcore, AT&T, and Bell Laboratories.
Ms. Petrokubi holds a Masters degree in
Library Science from Rutgers University. She is a member of
MCA-I (Media Communications Association-International) and New
York Women in Film and Television.

GEORGE
W. WELLES III, Principal and founder, Imaging Futures,
Inc. Media management, broadband communications,
collaborative tools, security. Mr. Welles retired as Manager
of Broadband Applications for U S WEST in 1996. At U S WEST (now
Qwest), he managed advanced communication research and
development projects as part of the COMPASS Lab and served as an
advanced technology consultant to U S WEST and its customers.
Imaging Futures consulting clients include Hoffmann-La Roche.,
St. Paul Companies, Roadway Express, 3M, Cargill, Minnesota
Power, Ceridian, Cisco, Eastman Kodak, Boeing, Intel, SAFECO,
Merck, Johnson & Johnson, Target Corp., Hallmark Cards, the
International Communications Industries Association (ICIA) and
numerous universities and research facilities.
Mr. Welles is co-founder of the US Department of Defense Digital
Imaging Symposium. He has taught electronic commerce seminars
for the University of Minnesota, Economic Development Center and
Min-nesota Power and keynoted the International Communication
Industries Association Leadership Conference, Supply Chain Expo
’99 and the spring 2000 DVD Summit III, among many others. He is
a member of the Minnesota High Technology Association (MHTA),
the Armed Forces Communication and Electronics Association
(AFCEA) and an accredited member of the Communications Media
Management Association (CMMA). He serves on the University of
Minnesota Computer Science Department Advisory Board, the
Minnesota Future Work Task Force and as an advisor to the
Minnesota Office of Technology.
